fflares asked: I just got highlights on my brown hair and they ended up being streaky and looking yellow and just TERRIBLE and not what I asked for. Do you think using a purple shampoo would help take away the gross color? I look like a skunk:(

Unfortunately, love I don’t think the purple shampoo will help. That stuff usually takes out reddish/orange tints in your hair to bring you to a truer “blonde” but since your problem is too yellowish highlights, I suggest going back to ANOTHER hair stylist and getting them faded or dying your hair another colour. Try something bold, maybe? An all-over colour like red or purple or jet black (which is something you can DIY but is hard to reverse!!)
Don’t stress, it’s hair and can be fixed!
